| Kathy began her
appliqué towel business in 1992 with only six different designs. Since
then, her repertoire has expanded to include more than 60 original
holiday and seasonal designs, as well as holiday table runners and
aprons. In 2000, using her towels as inspiration, Kathy also created her
own line of decorative pillows. Kathy chooses her quality blank towels from various specialty businesses. Then, each winter, she diligently works to create new designs specifically tailored to the needs of her customers. Each design is then individually drawn, ironed, sewn, trimmed and detailed onto a chosen fabric. This attention to quality and detail has earned Kathy a loyal following of customers who truly appreciate these "one of a kind" creations. However, her customers aren't the only ones who laud over Kathy's work. She has received numerous show awards and her towels have been included in set decorations for "Romantic Homes" magazine. Kathy, a resident of White Lake, Michigan, participates in approximately 12-14 shows a year, including traveling to Illinois, Ohio, New York, and Tennessee. If you're fortunate enough to come to one of her shows, rest assured there will be a large inventory of towels for you to browse and choose from. Kathy does also take e-mail and phone orders for those who cannot visit her in person, or who want to order extras.
